Gyro Nachos | Easy & Amazing

Ingredients

  • 1 box of Trader Joe's Pita Bite Crackers
  • 2 tbsp. of Trader Joe's Tzatziki Creamy Garlic Cucumber Dip
  • 2 tbsp. Trader Joe's Greek Olive Medley in brine
  • 1 box of Trader Joe's Gyro Slices
  • 1 cup of mozzarella
  • 1 cup of feta cheese
  • Toppings of your choice. Our favorites include lettuce, tomato, red peppers, banana peppers, kamala olives, & red onions

Instructions

Prep the Pita Chips

  1. Preheat your oven 400°F
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil
  3. Spread an even layer of your pita crackers, top it with mozzarella, feta, and bake until your cheese has melted.

Prep the Gyro Meat

  1. Follow the Instructions on the back of your gyro meat box which include:
  2. Stove Top: Remove Packaging. Preheat a skillet or pan until hot, place slices in skillet and heat 20 secs per side. Set aside.
  3. Microwave (1200 watts): Microwave cook time could depend on wattage. Remove packaging and place meat on a microwavable safe dish. Cook on high power for 30 secs. Set aside

Assemble the Nachos

  1. Take your cheese pita crackers and add on top your gyro meat and toppings of your choice!
  2. Don't forget to add the Trader Joe's tzatziki on the side to dip!
  3. Serve and Enjoy!!
