Copycat Bonefish House Salad

Ingredients

House Dressing

  • 2/3 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 4 tbsp. of water
  • 2 tbsp. of white wine vinegar
  • 2 large cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp. of Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp. of lime juice
  • 2 tsp. of lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. of minced fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. of salt
  • 1/8 tsp. of pepper

Salad

  • 1 bag of mixed greens
  • romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1/2 cup of tomatoes sliced
  • 1/2 cup of hearts of palm chopped
  • 1/2 cup of kamala olives
  • Handful of sunflower seeds
  • Handful of toasted pine nuts

Instructions

Dressing

  1. In your Chef'n Emulstir add in olive oil, sugar, water, white wine vinegar, garlic, Dijon mustard, lime juice, lemon juice, parsley, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper
  2. Mix until all ingredients are combined
  3. Refrigerate for one hour

Salad Assembly

  1. Rinse and pat dry your lettuce, mixed greens. and tomatoes
  2. Chop your lettuce and hearts of palm, and slice your tomatoes in half set aside.
  3. In a large bowl add in your lettuce, mixed greens, tomatoes, hearts of palm, kalamata olives, sunflower seeds and pine nuts. Then top with your dressing, see recipe above.
  4. Mix well and make sure everything is combined
  5. Serve and Enjoy!
